To take the guesswork out of setting up, OSD (On-Screen Display) helps you scroll quickly and easily through your CORIOscan Select menu, showing clearly the status of unit settings. As the CORIOscan Select offers two outputs on both Composite Video and S-Video in addition to the RGB output, you also have the option to display any computer presentation on up to 5 pieces of video equipment. Brightness Control is particularly useful in this scenario as it enables you to adjust the computer image at source through the CORIOscan Select.
If you need to be able to control your mouse pointer from a distance for professional presentation scenarios, the CORIOscan Select's Microsoft Serial Mouse emulation via the remote control is the perfect tool, enabling complete control through the CORIOscan Select's RS232 Port.
The RS232 Port is an alternative control method that enables you to manipulate the settings of your CORIOscan Select unit from your computer desktop using our CORIO control software panel. This software was written by Vine and presents 'setting' information in a familiar windows environment, giving you a high level of detailed information all in one window pane. Because it also enables the 'cloning' of settings between units, this form of control is particularly useful for applications where several CORIOscan Selects are required eg. Point of Sale or Information Display applications in large retail operations or across service industries. So, even if you are not familiar with computer language and writing programmes, the use of the CORIO control software panel in conjunction with the RS232, takes the hassle out of setting up an operation where more than one unit is required.
